Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma has announced that he will not be a candidate in the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Speaking at the Congress Central Working Committee meeting on Thursday, General Minister Sharma said that he will not be a candidate. "Since I have become a candidate for 3 consecutive times, I have already told my friends in Jhapa that I will not become a candidate this time. In the last election, I was limited to my area, in the next election, I will reach across the country with the party's candidates, Sharma said.

The party unanimously recommended Sharma from Jhapa-1. However, he thanked for recommending him and announced that he will not be a candidate in the election.
