Kathmandu. Binda Pandey, the leader of CPN-UML, has nominated for the post of vice president of the party. Pandey registered her candidacy for the post of vice president on the proposal of leader Ashtalakshmi Shakya. She has submitted her candidacy for the ongoing 11th Congress of the party while the leadership selection process is underway. Ashtalakshmi Shakya has announced that she will leave the responsibility of the party with the convention. When Shakya was leaving, she pushed Pandey forward.
Pandey is a permanent committee member of CPN-UML. Pandey, who entered politics from the student movement, has been involved in political activities since 2037. In the year 2062, when the Women's Department passed eight points related to gender issues, it also published a book related to it.
