Bhotekoshi flood update: 1 thousand 451 bodies found

Kathmandu. Due to the devastating flood in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi, 1 thousand 451 dead bodies have been found till 8 am on Tuesday. Out of which 236 people were found in Rasuwa, 203 people in Nuwakot, 72 people in Dhading, 367 people in Chitwan, 79 people in Gorkha, 38 people in Tanahun, 232 people in Nawalparasi East and 222 people in Nawalparasi West. Also, 2 people died during treatment in Kathmandu.
For the identification of the bodies found, the necessary procedures have been completed, from DNA sample collection, till now 1 thousand 333 bodies have been kept safely under the management soil. A total of 3,345 DNA samples have been collected for body identification, 10329 of the deceased and 2016 of the relatives. Also, the details of 1,424 unidentified dead bodies have also been uploaded on the Nepal Police website.
