Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has given attractive appointments to her 'beloveds' when she leaves. In the cabinet meeting held on Sunday, Prime Minister Karki appointed her principal private secretary Ardash Kumar Shrestha as the chairman of the National Nature Conservation Fund and recommended her confidant Home Minister Omprakash Aryal as a member of the National Assembly.
Prime Minister's Press Adviser Ram Bahadur Rawal informed that Shrestha has been nominated for the post by the Prime Minister and Treasurer Karki for the next five years. In the National Nature Conservation Fund Act, 2039, there is a provision that the patron of the fund will be the prime minister and the patron will nominate the chairman.
After being appointed as the Prime Minister, Karki appointed Nasu Shrestha, who is working in the Information Technology Division of the Supreme Court, as the Chief Personal Secretary. When Karki was the Chief Justice, Shrestha was in charge of court management.
