An attack on the headquarters of a Nepali army battalion in Lebanon
Kathmandu. At least 13 people were killed as Israeli airstrikes continued to target southern Lebanon on Friday night. According to the news agency Xinhua citing Lebanese government sources, the attack also hit the barracks of the Nepali battalion under the United Nations Interim Force UNIFIL.
According to the Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health of Lebanon, the Israeli attack directly targeted the joint emergency center run by the Islamic Health Authority and the Islamic Risala Scouts, killing two rescue workers and injuring five others.
Six people, including a girl, were killed when an Israeli warplane attacked a house in Al-Rahibat area of Nabatieh city. Three people were killed in another attack in the southern border town of Bint Jbeil, while two children were killed in an attack in the coastal town of Ghaziye.
