Agreed on the name of Hemraj Sharma as NRNA President
Kathmandu. It has been agreed to elect Hemraj Sharma as the president of Non-Resident Nepali Association NRNA. Sharma's name was agreed upon after other candidates who had nominated for the post withdrew their names. Apart from Sharma, Robin Sherchan and Robin Bajracharya nominated for the post of president. The Election Committee has announced that the winners of all positions will be announced at once.
According to the NRN election committee, all the details of the working committee will be made public today. It is said that the working committee is going to be selected on the basis of consensus rather than elections. According to the NRNA Secretariat, the closing ceremony was organized at five o'clock on Sunday evening under the chief hospitality of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
