A program on meditation presented at the United Nations by Life Sciences
Kathmandu. On the occasion of the Second World Meditation Day, Nepal has given a special presentation at the United Nations for the first time. Representing Nepal, the Foundation of Life Sciences has organized two separate programs on meditation at the United Nations on Friday on the occasion of Meditation Day. On behalf of Nepal, the founders of the Foundation of Life Sciences, Ramesh Nepal and LP Bhanu Sharma, gave a special lecture, yoga practice and meditation on the topic of 'Meditation for Global Peace and Harmony' in a special program held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
In the press release issued by the Foundation, it is said that the program has helped spread the spiritual awareness of yoga, meditation, samadhi, etc., which originated in Nepal, all over the world. In the program 'Meditation for Universal Peace and Harmony', Guru Bhanu made it clear that the mind of every human being should be stable to face the challenges of the modern world and called for meditation for that.
Stating that the United Nations has started celebrating December 21 as World Meditation Day as a historic moment of global awareness, he expressed his happiness that along with traditional diplomacy and policy making, inner awakening, meditation and mental health are also accepted as the foundations of world peace.
