According to the First Amendment Guidelines for Members of the House of Representatives Proportional Election, 2082, those who have committed crimes related to corruption, coercion, human trafficking and trafficking, drug sales, distribution and export or smuggling, money laundering, passport misuse, kidnapping will be declared ineligible.
There is provision for such candidates to be disqualified if they have been convicted of any other criminal offense of moral turpitude or sentenced to life imprisonment or imprisonment of 20 years or more for any offence, even if such judgment is final.
