Gyanendra Shahi wins in Jumla, Vinita Kathayat's bail forfeited

Kathmandu. As part of the House of Representatives election, the candidate of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party RPP Gyan Bahadur 9 Gyanendra 0 Shahi has won from Jumla region. With this victory, RPP has opened its account of victory this year. According to the final vote results announced on Saturday, February 23 afternoon, Shahi received 14,065 votes. His nearest competitor, Naresh Bhandari, the candidate of Nepal Communist Party, CPN, got 11 thousand 123 votes. Shahi defeated Bhandari by a margin of 2,942 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Deep Bahadur Shahi, who is in third place, got 6,664 votes. CPN-UML candidate Shantilal Mahat got 4 thousand 288 votes and finished fourth. Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP candidate Vinita Kathayat got only 398 votes, due to which her security deposit was forfeited. Kathayat was previously a proportional member of parliament.
