263rd Army Establishment Day was celebrated in Tundikhel
Kathmandu. Today, the Nepali Army celebrated the 263rd Foundation Day and Mahashivratri with various programs. President Ramchandra Paudel participated as the chief guest in a special ceremony organized by the Nepali Army at Sainik Manch Tundikhel on the occasion of Shivratri and Army Day.
The Army has been celebrating Mahashivratri as Army Day since two decades ago. On that occasion, various cultural programs including parades, military exercises, cannon firing, and Qawaz were conducted at Sainik Manch.
Special guests including Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the National Assembly were present at the ceremony.
