26 years after the Baglung connecting track was opened, the road was blacked out
Baglung. After 26 years of the opening of the 'track', the locals are happy that the rural roads have been turned black. Mulpani-Titaure, Odarchaur-Dhodeni and Ganeshghumti-Nirayaghat roads connected to the district headquarters have been blacked out. After the road has been paved, it has become easier to travel and transport goods. Through the Urban Government and Infrastructure Development Program, 8.5 km of Moolpani-Titaure road, 2.5 km of Odarchaur-Dhodeni road and 1.5 km of Ganeshghumti-Nirayaghat road have been paved.
Basant Kumar Shrestha, the head of Baglung municipality, informed that the road was constructed with a grant of Rs 480 million from the World Bank. He said that the road has made it easier for rural people to travel and market local products. Chief Shrestha says that this road, which is located in three wards of Baglung municipality, will change the living standards of the citizens.
