146 laws issued for the implementation of the constitution: Minister Sinha

Kathmandu. Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Anil Kumar Sinha has said that with the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal, the government is making the necessary laws for its effective implementation a top priority. Speaking at the meeting of the National Assembly on Monday, Minister Sinha informed that the work of identification, prioritization and law making for the implementation of the constitution is ongoing. He said that after the promulgation of the constitution, 146 separate laws have been promulgated so far.
He said, 'With the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal, the Government of Nepal has been editing the laws to be made for the implementation of the Constitution with high priority. After the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal, 146 separate laws have been promulgated so far. Similarly, to make the existing laws compatible with the Constitution of Nepal and to improve the system of federal governance, laws have been issued to amend some Nepalese laws on different dates.
Minister Sinha said that "Acts to amend some Nepal Acts" have been issued on different dates to reform the existing Acts in line with the Constitution and federal system of government. He clarified that through those amendments, the existing laws have been amended according to the spirit of the constitution and federalism.
