1 lakh 49 thousand election police recruitment opening today, applications can be made from Friday

Kathmandu. The recruitment of one lakh 49 thousand 90 election policemen for the election of the House of Representatives to be held on February 21 will be opened on Thursday. The police head office is preparing to issue a notice on Thursday. Applications for joining the election police can be submitted from Friday. 

We will release the information on Thursday. We will start accepting applications from Friday," said the central spokesperson of the police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Avinarayan Kafle.  Applications for election police can be made for 5 days from Friday. Then the selection process will start. The application can be given from every district police office. 

Nepal Police will recruit 133 thousand 980 people and Armed Police will recruit 15 thousand 110 election police. But the selection process will be done jointly. Only after the selection, Armed Police and Nepal Police will take the number according to their respective quotas and start training. A committee consisting of security agencies will be formed in every district under the coordination of the chief district officer for election police selection. Earlier it was called Madi Police, but for the first time it was named as Election Police.
