Ekantakuna section of Kanti highway will be closed for 60 days

Kathmandu. The District Administration Office Lalitpur has informed that as expansion and cutting is being done in Kantakuna area under the Kanti Highway Road Plan, the traffic in that area will be closed for 60 days. According to the public notice issued by the district administration, the road section will be closed from 20th of November to the next 60 days from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
According to the administration, the road has been closed to quickly and effectively complete the necessary technical work under the plan. During this period, vehicles traveling through Kanti Highway and general passengers have been requested to use alternative routes.
