World Cup practice: Nepal won the second game in a row, MCA lost by 48 runs
Kathmandu. Nepal, which is in the final preparations for the ICC T-20 World Cup, won the second practice match in a row. India won by 48 runs against MCA President-11 on Saturday. Earlier, Nepal won by seven wickets in the first match on Thursday.
After winning the toss on Saturday, Nepal batted first and scored 183 runs for the loss of five wickets. Arif Shaikh scored a half century for Nepal. Sheikh scored 66 runs not out facing 42 balls. Sandeep Zora scored 31 runs off 26 balls, Ashif Sheikh scored 25 runs, Gulsan Jha got out on 23 runs, Lokesh Bam added 15 runs and Bashir Ahmed added 9 runs. Playing the entire 20 overs, Nepal scored 183 runs for the loss of five wickets.
Now before the World Cup, Nepal will play 'warm up' matches against United Arab Emirates UAE on February 3 and Canada on February 5 in Chennai. Nepal will start the World Cup in India and Sri Lanka by playing against England on February 8. In the World Cup, Nepal is in Group C. In this group, which is considered difficult, there are two-time winners West Indies, one-time winners England, Scotland and Italy along with Nepal.
