World Cup 2026: Senegal's 5-0 win over Iraq

Kathmandu. In the last match of the group stage under the FIFA World Cup 2026, the African country Senegal has registered a wide victory of 5.0 goals against the Asian rival Iraq. Senegal has maintained its mathematical possibility of reaching the knockout stage of the competition by winning the one-sided match held this morning at the stadium in Toronto, Canada.

 For Senegal, which has been under pressure since the beginning of the game, Pape Gué scored two goals, while Habib Diarra, Ismaila Sar, and Ilman Ndiaye contributed one goal each. In the 13th minute of the game, Iraq's defender Rabin Sulaka had to leave the field with a straight red card, and Iraq was limited to 10 players, which Senegal took full advantage of.

Senegal took the lead in the fourth minute of the game through Habib Diarra's excellent goal. In the first half, Iraq, which consisted of 10 players, played a defensive game and did not allow any more goals. The first half ended with a score of 1.0.
