Kathmandu. Under the Special Provisions Ordinance on the Removal of Public Office-Bearers recently issued by the government, 10 senior officials serving in various bodies under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation have been automatically relieved of their posts effective today.
According to a notice issued by the ministry today, the new legal arrangement has left the leadership positions of the Nepal Electricity Authority and the Electricity Regulatory Commission vacant. Who among the Authority and the Commission has been removed? According to the ministry’s details, the list of office-bearers removed from their posts is as follows.
