Kathmandu. Former champion Argentina has entered the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup (2026) jointly organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
In a very exciting and competitive match held at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, USA, on June 24, according to Nepali time, Argentina defeated Egypt with a margin of 3 goals to 2. Argentina made a strong comeback against Egypt at the beginning of the game and won the game.
The first lead in the game was unexpectedly taken by Egypt. Yasser Ibrahim gave Egypt an early lead in the 15th minute, putting Argentina's strong defense under pressure.
