The book " Shaiva Darshan, Culture and Dashanami Sannyasi" written by cultural campaigner Himal Giri and published by Nepal Pragya Foundation has received feedback from the readers that it is very readable for cultural knowledge.

There are two main sects of believers in Hinduism which include Shaiva and Vaishnava. Historically, Shiva is considered to be the biggest deity in Hinduism and the Shaiva sect is the community of Shivamargis. This book is a historical research book written about this community. In which the Dashanami sannyasis (Giri, Puri, Bharti, Van, Parvat, Sagar, Saraswati, Ashram, Aranya Tirtha) are explained and also the sannyasa karma method, the religious akha, matha, pith, etc. of the sannyasis in Nepal and India are deeply researched. Along with the details of Dashanami sannyasis in 77 districts in Nepal, how this name has remained traditionally and historically has been presented .
