Weather forecast: Chance of rain in hilly and Himalayan areas today
Kathmandu. The Water and Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that due to the influence of western low pressure line, local and easterly winds, there is a possibility of rain in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country today.
According to the department, some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces may experience moderate rain with thunder and lightning. There is a possibility of rain in some places of Koshi Terai and Madhesh. It is predicted that rain will continue in hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions during the night as well.
