Kathmandu. At present, there is partial influence of westerly winds, high pressure system in the upper atmosphere and low pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part of Nepal. At present, it is generally cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the remaining areas. Light rain is falling in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and the hilly and Himalayan areas of Far West Province.
It will be mostly cloudy over the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions, hilly and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim regions and one (two) places in Terai region of Lumbini region.
