Weather forecast: Chance of light rain and snow at some places

Kathmandu. At present, there is a partial effect of western wind in the country and frost has occurred in some places of the Terai, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology. Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim regions are partly cloudy and the weather is clear in the rest of the regions.
Today afternoon, it will be cloudy in some parts of Terai, while it will be cloudy in the Himalayan parts, partly cloudy in the hilly parts and the weather will be clear in the remaining parts.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at some places in the hilly and Himalayan parts of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and in one or two places in the rest of the hilly and Himalayan parts. Similarly, there will be thunderstorms at some places in Terai tonight. The rest of the Himalayas including Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki will be cloudy. There will be partly cloudy weather in Madhes province and the rest of the hilly areas and the weather will be clear in the remaining parts.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
