Kathmandu. A special voter education program will be conducted with the aim of making the House of Representatives election scheduled for February 21 more grand and orderly. In order to make the voting process easy and simple, and to reduce the percentage of invalid votes, the commission is going to conduct the program nationwide from February 3rd to 17th.

The voer education program will be conducted by mobilizing one voter education volunteer in all 753 local level 6,743 wards across the country. Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai informed that a program has been set for volunteers to visit voters' homes and settlements to inform voters about the importance of elections and the voting process through sample ballots. Since the past, the commission had appointed one (one) contact person at all local levels.
