US F-35 makes emergency landing after Iranian attack
Kathmandu. An American F-35 fighter jet made an emergency landing on Thursday after the Iranian attack. CNN has published a report on this citing sources. According to Captain Tim Hawkins, spokesman for the Central Command of the US military, the problem occurred when the fifth-generation fighter jet was on a mission over Iran. Then it was made an emergency landing at an American air base in the Middle East.
He said the plane landed safely and investigations into the incident are ongoing. He also informed that the condition of the pilot is stable.
This is the first incident since the war that started at the end of February that Iran has targeted an American aircraft and forced the F-35 to make an emergency landing.
