US and China agree on draft trade deal

Kathmandu. An agreement has been reached on the outline of a possible trade agreement between the United States and China. US Finance Minister Scott Besant has informed that this issue will be discussed at the meeting of the heads of state of the two countries at the end of this week. Quoting Besant, the decision to suspend the control of China on rare minerals is ready for the final agreement, according to Besant.
He said he did not see the possibility of US President Donald Trump's proposed 100 percent tariffs on Chinese goods being implemented. Besant said that the issue of China resuming large quantities of soybean purchases from the US is also covered. US President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are scheduled to meet in South Korea on Thursday. Besant said that the two countries have agreed on a concrete blueprint for the meeting between the two leaders. He also said that taxes will be stopped.
The Chinese government said in a statement that the two sides had "reached a preliminary agreement on an agreement that addresses their interests."
