UML will release the election manifesto in the first week of February

Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that the election manifesto will be released in the first week of February. In an interview organized by Press Chowtari Nepal in Kathmandu on Friday, Pokharel said that according to the schedule of the Election Commission, the election manifesto will be issued in the first week of Falgun before the election campaign starts. He said that the parties have discussed with experts about the manifesto.

Similarly, General Secretary Pokharel claimed that UML will try to avoid such things against tradition and stop trying to divide the society by saying that they are trying to create a psychological gap by calling the old generation against the new generation.

He said that he does not think that policy dialogue between political parties is necessary, but that it is not appropriate to present himself as a new alternative force. He says that if someone wants to give an alternative, they should be able to go to the policy debate.
