UML submitting the closed list for proportionality to the Election Commission today

Kathmandu. CPN-UML is going to submit the closed list for proportionality to the Election Commission today. The UML Secretariat meeting held at the party office Chasal on Sunday passed the closed list prepared by President KP Sharma Oli with suggestions and decided to submit it to the Election Commission today.

UML has prepared a list of closures based on recommendations from the provinces through various districts. MLE has submitted the names of former vice president Baral, secretary Padma Aryal, president of Akhil Nepal Mahila Sangh Tuka Hamal, former president of Yuva Sangh Niru Pal, former chief whip Shanta Chaudhary and former urban development minister Manju Chaudhary. President Oli has been given the responsibility to make some additions to the list of proportional candidates passed by the secretariat meeting.

Meanwhile, in the secretariat meeting, Vice President Gokarna Bista and Deputy Secretary General Yogesh Bhattarai said that Ishwar Pokharel should be kept as one of the proportional numbers. Wist and Bhattarai emphasized that Ishwar Pokharel should be kept as a proportional number to maintain unity in the party. They said, "Let's make a standard while selecting proportional, let's keep qualification, ability, efficiency standard." After the 11th Congress of UML, the secretariat meeting was held for the first time on Sunday. Current political issues were also discussed in today's meeting.
