UML secretariat meeting corrected Yogesh Bhattarai's ranking
Kathmandu. The Secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party UML has corrected the order of rank of Deputy General Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai. Chairman KP Sharma Oli proposed to place Bhattarai as the third among the three deputy secretaries-general, but the secretariat meeting modified it and gave him the second rank.
Earlier, the leaders and workers close to Bhattarai expressed dissatisfaction with President Oli's proposal. Bhattarai, who was elected to the post of secretary in the 9th and 10th national conventions, was elected as the deputy general secretary in the 11th national convention. Keeping in mind his seniority, the Secretariat has taken this decision.
