UML filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the restoration of the House of Representatives

Kathmandu. CPN-UML has filed a petition in the Supreme Court with the demand for the restoration of the House of Representatives. According to UML leader Mahesh Bertaula, in the writ petition, the dissolution of the House of Representatives is unconstitutional and the restoration has been demanded. "The writ petition demanding the restoration of the unconstitutionally dissolved House of Representatives has been submitted to the honorable Supreme Court today on behalf of the unconstitutionally dissolved House of Representatives of the CPN-UML parliamentary party," said leader Bertaula.
The meeting of the disbanded House of Representatives Parliamentary Party of UML concluded that both the appointment of Sushila Karki as Prime Minister and the dissolution of the House of Representatives were unconstitutional. The meeting authorized the leaders Bertaula and Sunita Baral to file a writ in the Supreme Court.
