UML Convention: Consultancy sector is shaking, the crowd of workers is increasing
Kathmandu. The opening of the 11th Congress of CPN-UML is about to begin. A crowd of UML workers can be seen at Tinkune Maidan in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur during the inauguration ceremony. Since morning, the crowd of workers, representatives and supporters has been gathering at the venue and surrounding areas. A stage has been prepared for the inauguration. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 1 o'clock. A rally has been organized before that.
Thousands of representatives, observers and workers from all over the country are entering Sallaghari through the main gates of the valley since morning. Traffic has increased in Kathmandu-Bhaktapur area due to long queues and congestion of vehicles, while traffic congestion is seen on Arani highway.
According to the organizing committee, everything related to the stage, decorations, sound system, flags-banners and security for the opening has been completed by morning. All the three security agencies are on high alert, while the traffic police has implemented special management.
Arrangements such as hygiene, health aid room, water and volunteer mobilization around the site have also been activated since this morning. Hundreds of volunteers have been deployed to help the workers sit and enter and exit comfortably. With the official start of the convention, the political report, organization report, legislative amendment and leadership selection process will be carried forward in the coming days.
