Bagmati. For the 11th Congress of Nepal Communist Party UML, representatives have been selected through elections in Makwanpur Region No. 1. UML Makwanpur president Sridhar Pokharel has been defeated in the elections held in Hetaunda. There were 22 people competing for the convention representative, including Chairman Pokharel. Eight of them were elected.

Naveen Sigdel, Phurwa Dorje Lama, Sunil Moktan, Anraj Zargamgar, Aarti Pathak, Sita Bista, Vinakumari Thing and Bol Bahadur Karki were elected from the election, informed Chief Electoral Officer Surya Prasad Neupane. Elected Sigdel, Lama and Moktan are also ward presidents of Hetaunda sub-metropolis (4, 10 and 15) respectively. Similarly, Balram Bal, Ekalal Shrestha, Hidam Lama, Vidur Humagain, Sumitra Kafle, Bhagwati Pudasaini, Geeta Praja and Rohan Lama were elected unopposed from Makwanpur area No. 2.
