Two killed in jeep accident in Lamjung

Lamjung. Two people died in a jeep accident in Lamjung. District Police Office Lamjung has informed that two people were killed when a Bolero Jeep No. 8 Ch 3731 carrying cement for Hidikhola Hydropower from Masryangdi Rural Municipality 3 Khudi in the same Municipality 6 Naiche met with an accident last night.

District Police Office Information Officer Gyanendra Bahadur Chhetri said that among the deceased were the jeep drivers Vinod Khadka, 30, and Paras Khadka, 25, of Dolakha Melung 4. The police rescued them after the jeep went out of control and fell down 800 meters from the road, causing serious injuries. According to him, the injured were brought to Bensisahar Municipality (8) State Hospital, Bensisahar Lamjung, but they died during the treatment. Similarly, 20-year-old Umesh Limbu of Taplejung Sidingwa Rural Municipality 4, who was riding in the same jeep, is unharmed, the police said.
