Two Bills assent by the President at midnight
Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Poudel has certified two bills that have been passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament. President Paudel certified the 'House of Representatives Election First Amendment Bill, 2083' and the 'Voter Roll First Amendment Bill, 2083' in accordance with Article 113, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal on Sunday midnight.
According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of the President's Office, Ritesh Kumar Shakya, both these bills, which were passed by the House of Representatives and the National Assembly and sent to the Rashtrapati Bhawan for verification, have been verified.
