Trump's stance on not lifting the sea blockade: Iran's strategy to reduce oil exports to zero

Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has instructed to continue the strict embargo and maritime blockade for a long time under the ongoing "Operation Economic Fury" with the aim of completely destroying Iran's economy.

After a high-level security meeting held at the White House, President Trump ordered his aides and advisers to completely block commercial traffic at Iran's major ports and adopt a zero-tolerance policy on oil exports.

According to recently published reports, the Trump administration has imposed new sanctions on 35 individuals and entities linked to Iran's "shadow banking" network.
