Tripartite collaboration of Congress-UML and LOSPA in the National Assembly elections, seat allocation finalized

Kathmandu. There will be electoral cooperation between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML in the National Assembly member elections to be held on January 11th. The Congress Central Working Committee has decided to fight the election together with UML and LOSPA.
According to the agreement, out of total 18 seats, Congress will get 9 seats, UML 8 seats and LOSPA 1 seat. Congress has also decided its candidates for 9 seats. As candidate nominations are being registered today, it has been analyzed that this unexpected collaboration between the two major parties will affect the National Assembly elections and the upcoming political equation.
