Tribhuvan University to Offer Chance Examinations for Students Since 2053 BS

Kathmandu — Tribhuvan University (TU) has been rapidly conducting irregular examinations in order to improve its academic calendar. The TU Office of the Controller of Examinations has been holding the currently irregular examinations at a brisk pace so that, starting from next Shrawan, examinations can be conducted according to the regular academic calendar, said Examination Controller Laxman Paudel.

"At present, we are conducting three to four types of examinations each month in order to correct the irregular academic calendar," he said. "Chance examinations for students since 2053 BS are also being held with the aim of completing them by Asar." In the month of Baisakh alone, four types of examinations are being conducted. At the undergraduate level, the second year of BALLB, the regular second year of the bachelor's level, and the first and second year examinations of B.Tech are currently underway.
