Tragedy in Vidur's Betravati: 22 people found dead in a house flooded
Nuwakot. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Bidur Municipality 10, Betrawati, Nuwakot due to the severe flooding of the Trishuli River, which is flowing through the upper region of Rasuwa. The bodies of 22 people were found buried in a flooded house.
On the sixth day of the flood, on Monday, a team of security personnel found 22 bodies in one place inside the house. Six bodies were recovered from the debris on Monday, while the remaining 16 bodies were recovered on Tuesday morning.
It is believed that the people gathered in the same house as a safe place to save their lives after the flood started. The bodies that were found buried in Hilo and Ledo for several days have become unrecognizable.
