Kathmandu. The influence of monsoon winds continues across the country. According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, the monsoon low pressure line is located south of Sardar towards the eastern region and around Sardar towards the western region.
At present, it is generally cloudy all over the country. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions and a couple of places in the hilly areas of Lumbini region.
According to the division, it will be generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country this afternoon. The Terai region of Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces are also likely to have mostly cloudy skies and the Terai regions of Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces are also likely to have partly to mostly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Himalayan and hilly areas.
