Kathmandu. On the first trading day of the week, the stock market NEPSE index increased by 30.75 points and reached the point of 2631.14. On NEPSE, 297 million 38 thousand 139 shares of 300 companies were bought and sold on this day, and over 9 billion 20 million shares were traded. Today, while the share price of 205 companies increased, the share price of 42 companies decreased while the price of 3 companies remained stable.
Today, Himalayan Bank's founding share has the highest turnover of 1.66 billion. In the second place, the shares of Union Hydropower were traded at Rs 343 million and in the third place, shares of Butwal Power Company were traded at Rs 250 million. On this day, the investors of 5 companies namely Community Microfinance, Gurkhaz Finance, Panchkanya My Hydropower, People's Power Limited and Tehrathum Power Company have earned the highest rate of 10 percent. Similarly, the investors of Guheshwari Merchant have earned 9.98 percent and the investors of Unnati Sanjakar Lagufitta have earned at the rate of 9.89 percent.
Investors of Khanikhola Hydropower lost the most today at the rate of 4.76 percent.
