Kathmandu. Today, 'World Hepatitis Day' is being celebrated with various awareness programs. This day is celebrated on July 28th every year with the aim of spreading public awareness around the world about hepatitis disease which seriously affects the liver.
According to the data of the World Health Organization WHO, 9 out of 10 people infected with hepatitis B and C do not know that they are suffering from this disease. This disease known as 'jaundice' in common colloquial language is considered to be life-threatening if not recognized and treated in time.
