Kathmandu. Year 2083 has started from today. New Year is also considered as a time of excitement, new zeal and new beginnings. Today Baisakh 1, the first day of the year, is being celebrated all over the country by exchanging greetings with each other. There is a tradition of celebrating New Year as a special festival all over the world. Among them, Baisakh 1st is considered as New Year in Nepal. Vikram Samvat is established as the most complete Samvat. Today is the first day of the same year.
Today is the day when the Sun ends the Bhoga of Pisces and starts the Bhoga of Aries and also Baisakh Sankranti i.e. Aries Sankranti. Experts say that Vikram Samvat is eternal because it moves with the speed of the sun.
Scholars say that when the sun enters Aries and leaves Pisces, the old year of the samvat ends and the new year begins. Every person today evaluates the success and failure of the work done in the last year and decides not to repeat the failure and make a plan to achieve success.
It is customary to take a bath early in the morning, clean the house and yard, go to the monastery for worship and darshan, eat sweets, meet friends and friends and exchange good wishes with each other.
