Three people arrested in Jhapa with weapons looted from Kathmandu during Genji protest

Jhapa. Police have arrested three people from Damak in Jhapa along with two pistols that were stolen from Metropolitan Police Office Kathmandu during the Genji protest. The police also recovered two pistols and 20 rounds of bullets from them. According to the District Police Office, the arrested persons are Vishwa Lingden, 29 years old from Prashantitol, Damak (6), Saroj Puri, 26 years old from Damak (9) and Pawan Hangsungwa, 30 years old from Ilam Chulachuli 4 Sunday.

Last night, a team under the command of Deputy Inspector Kumar Somes Lamichhane from Narcotics Control Bureau branch office Kankarvitta and a joint team of police from Damak area police office arrested Saroj Puri who was camping in Damak (8) while he was walking outside the room.
