Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is preparing to make the candidate selection process for the upcoming local level elections much stricter and more systematic. According to a new draft prepared by a task force led by party co-general secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya, it will now be mandatory to pass the ‘Candidate Club’ and the ‘Leadership Academy’ in order to become a candidate from the RSP.
The party claims that this new system will select qualified and capable leadership in a manner different from traditional politics.
