Kathmandu. This week, NEPSE index decreased by 0.56 points and reached 2714.05 points. NEPSE, which closed at 2714.61 points last week, decreased by 73.18 points to 2714.05 points this week. The market was open for five trading days this week. In which NEPSE decreased on three trading days and increased on one trading day.
This week, an average of 14.7 billion 31 million rupees was traded. 13.78 billion 57 million shares were traded on Sunday, 16.35 billion 57 million on Monday and 14.16 billion 71 million on Tuesday. Similarly, shares worth 11.49 billion 39 million were traded on Wednesday and 14.56 billion 31 million on Thursday.
On the first trading day of the week, NEPSE increased by 57.55 points to 2772.17. On that day, when 309 lakh 15 thousand 183 shares of 331 companies traded in NEPSE were bought and sold, the transaction was over 13 billion 785 million rupees.
On the second trading day of the week, NEPSE decreased by 3.07 points to 2769.09. On that day, 362 million 64 thousand 873 shares of 332 companies traded in NEPSE were traded for more than 16 billion 35 million 57 million rupees.
