According to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, a drone attack was carried out on the Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery. After the attack, a fire broke out in the center and the emergency team has brought the situation under control. The company explained the incident as a malicious attack.
The Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery is considered one of the largest in the Middle East, which has the capacity to process approximately 346,000 barrels of oil per day.
