Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP, while addressing the meeting held in Chitwan, said that he came into politics not only for one election but for the future of a generation. Lamichhane, who was released from Bhairahawa prison only yesterday, expressed his gratitude saying that the people of Chitwan are constantly raising their voices against injustice. He expressed his belief that Chitwan will do justice not only to himself but also to the country.
Addressing the gahering, he said, 'Until today, the people of Chitwan have been raising their voices against injustice from here. You have done this honor not only for me, but for the country as a whole. I will repay the country by becoming a carrier of this gun.
Lamichhane, raising the issue of injustice done to him, said that the pain given to the country and the generation is greater than the personal pain. "I didn't know if the snake that bit me died or not, but I am still alive today with the poison they gave me." There is no point in hurting me because I was imprisoned and hurt. He said, "We should settle the accounts of the sufferings given to the entire country and generation." He made it clear that the struggle of Gen-G generation will not go to waste while expressing his commitment to the youth generation. Also, he also said that he will not engage in revenge politics.
Lamichhane mentioned that Chitwan has 24 crore historical places and expressed his belief that the campaign of justice for the country will proceed from here.
