Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has said that there is a planned attempt to make Nepal 'Ukraine'. While issuing a greeting message on the occasion of English New Year 2026, Nepali Communist Party leader Khanal has accused the international imperialist powers and their agents inside the country of trying to push Nepal towards instability, violence and destruction.

He has also called for national unity among all communist, left-wing, progressive, patriotic and democracy-loving forces. We all know that today the country is going through a multifaceted crisis. "The international imperialist powers and their brokers inside the country are planning to make Nepal 'Ukraine'," Khanal said in the message.

He said that there is a rapid change in the balance of world power. Khanal has also claimed that the old world order dominated by Western powers is disintegrating and a new world order based on justice and equality is gradually being built.
