The US Pentagon's extensive military preparations for the deployment of ground forces in Iran
Kathmandu. The US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, has prepared comprehensive strategies for the possible deployment of ground forces in Iran. Citing various sources, according to CBS News, in view of the possibility of US President Donald Trump taking more military action in the context of the ongoing conflict between the US and Israel, high military commanders have put forward special strategies for pre-preparedness.
Although President Trump is considering the deployment of ground troops in the Middle East, a concrete decision has not yet been made on the specific circumstances in which they will be used. As it is a sensitive military plan, the officials who informed about it have kept their names confidential.
Answering questions from reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday, President Trump said he was not going to send troops anywhere immediately. However, he made it clear that "even if the army is to be sent, he will not inform the media".
