Except for some senior citizens in the village and shepherds who take care of yakchauri and sheepfolds, all the mustangis used to go to Pokhara, Kathmandu and other places during this time. Some citizens used to travel to different cities of India for the trade of 'sweaters'. Similarly, the upper mustangs, which had gone down before October, would return to their former places only in March-May.
