Kathmandu.  The Nepal Teachers' Federation has announced that it will once again embark on nationwide protests from the coming month of August, saying that the previous agreements have not been implemented and there has been a delay in the formulation of the School Education Act. This information was given at a press conference held in Kathmandu on Friday to publicize the decisions of the third national council meeting of the federation.

The council meeting has published a 15-point decision and demand sheet covering the issues of professional rights and contemporary educational reforms. The responsibility of deciding the concrete date, format and phased program of the movement has been delegated from the council to the extended working group of the Federation.
